What is a Cleveland Sporthorse?
Cleveland Sporthorses come in all shapes, sizes and colours - however all have one very important thing in
common - They all owe their roots to the Cleveland Bay.

Cleveland Sporthorses are taking the world by storm with their trainability, good sensible level headed attitude
toward life and the tasks they are asked to perform, good bone and great conformation.

Cleveland Sporthorses are happy to be your best friend or take you to the top of your chosen field of competition.

What is this site all about?

Celebrating the contribution that Cleveland Sporthorses are making in the world of equine competition and activity.
For many years part bred Cleveland Bay horses have excelled in all of the major sporting horse disciplines but
unfortunately these achievements have not always been recognised because their breeding links back to their
Cleveland origins have not been made.

This site has been set up to put this right and you will find active and successful horses appearing here.

All Cleveland related horse down to 1/8 (12.5%) Cleveland blood i.e. have a great grandsire or great grand dam
entered in the Cleveland Bay Stud Book (UK)

You are welcome to have your Cleveland sporthorse or part bred (what ever title you prefer) appear here on
this site.
